3 weeks!

Holy Cow, it's been 3 weeks already! My how time flies!!

Tom is back to work this week, bummer, we would have loved to have him home with us longer. So that means it's me and Mitch, all on our own! It's going okay... not getting much done, but I think we'll start figuring each other out soon enough, at least I hope. Last night Tom took us to Target, our first real outing to the real world. Mitch handled it fairly well, but we weren't able to make the next stop of the grocery store... maybe tonight. I haven't quite figured out when to pump to try to get a "stash" for public outings, or even to let Tom feed him. It seems like when I pump, he gets fussy and wants to eat. Doesn't work very well. I also think he's having a little bit of nipple confusion between me, the pacifier and the bottle. Kinda frustrating! I'm sure it will figure itself out.

I've been trying to take some good/artsy pictures of Mitch. Here are a few of my favorites.

My favorite, even if it's a little fuzzy!

This one is super blurry, but I tried to catch his smile, while I could.

We took a road trip to Duncan to visit my Dad, Grandma and Aunt Ginger. Mitch did great on the 4 hour drive, only fussing about 3 hours into it, so we stopped in Safford on the way there, and Globe on the way back.

Ma, why do you have to take my picture??

Meeting Great Grandma Cambern, who will be 100 in June!
4 Generations - Great Grandmother, Grandfather, Mother, Son
Great Aunt Ginger
While we were there, my Great Uncle Paul, Great Aunt Beth and their daughter Jill came to visit my Grandmother. It was a such a nice treat to get to visit with them. They drove all the way from Joseph City, AZ to Duncan and back in one day! Sheesh that's a road trip!
When I was a kid my family used to go hunting in the white mountains every year, and Uncle Paul used to join us. He always had great stories to tell, and each year the stories seemed to get bigger and bigger! I remember Aunt Beth always making such yummy campfire food!

While in Duncan, we were able to capture a smile....

and a scream! LOL! He was D.O.N.E. with all the flash photography!
But, while he snugged with Grandpa, I was able to document his little feet!

And his little hands!

My dad's hands are huge and rough, Mitch's hands are so small and soft... see how his whole hand wraps around just the tip of my dads thumb? Precious!
Back at home, here are a few more of my favorites!
Hanging out with Daddy!
Last weekend, my dad was in town again, so we took steaks over to Donell's house to grill. Mitch was a hot commodity.
Mitch's first wet willy from Grandpa!

Doting Aunt's who don't think Grandpa's doin' it right! Lol!!

This picture has so much to tell it's funny! Krista wants Mitch's onsie to cover all of his diaper, so she's fixing it. Grandpa doesn't think it matters and wants to know why she's messing with him. Donell just wants to protect Mitch by keeping his head from rolling all over the place. And Grandma is talking to who ever will listen!

Here's a picture from today... I figured I needed to have a few more pictures of me with Mitch, so I took some of us in the bathroom mirror! You gotta do what you gotta do!

Oh, and here are a couple of video's of Mitch hanging out in the Boppy today!
