Mitch seems to be getting a little better about his fussiness. From what Tom tells me Mitch hasn't been giving him such a hard time on the nights I work. I was thinking the medicine we have him on for his silent reflux was working great, but after his appointment last week he seems to be spitting up a little, which he never does/did. Hmm, it's tough to figure out. We're trying to wait until he's 6 months old to start him on food. Although Tom is starting to add some rice cereal to his bottles at night. We'll see if it helps him sleep longer at night.
He's sitting up really well, as you can see in a video at the end of this post. He does really well on hard surfaces and he's doing great on the bed too. When he wiggles too much he falls over, but he's been able to prevent a few falls, and I'm impressed with is improving balance. He still loves to jump, on you, in his jumperoo (video below), anywhere. Tom has found that Mitch also likes to stand and chew on the padded poles above his play mat, he'll stand so long that Tom worries he gets cramps in his legs. Mitch is eager to move, someway, somehow. He'll scoot backwards and in circles. He's figuring out his knees, but not quite the combination of getting on the knees and then pushing up with the hands. Crawling will probably be soon though, and then we'll be in some trouble!
It's amazing how fast the time flies. He's getting so big. It's hard to think of all the things he'll learn just in the next month! I'll try to keep the camera close by and share with everyone what our big little boy is up to!
On to the pictures and two videos!
I love it when my little guy sleeps! He's so stinking cute. He holds his hands together a lot when he falls asleep in my arms. I love it! I have a picture of Tom when he's about 6 years old holding his hands together kinda like this and I think it's precious!
My little snoozer!
Speaking of sleeping! I came home from work one morning to this! Tom had been out in the yard looking around and (safely) trimming the tree with Mitch in the Bjorn. Well, he wore that kiddo out, he was totally asleep just hanging there!
See?!? Asleep! Look at his cute chubby little hands!
I wear my sunglasses at night! oh, wait, not at night, just to fall asleep! LOL!
Hanging out at Grandma's house with Grandpa on the floor playing with some of mom's old toys! I loved this Fisher Price Happy Apple when I was a kid. I want one for Mitch!
Hey Mom, what's up? I'm just chillin' with my daddy-O.
He likes to watch me wash dishes/bottles. He was infatuated with the bottle brush so I gave it to him. He loved feeling it with his lips and tongue! Hilarious. The rest of the photo's below are just of my cute little boy playing on our bed.
This one was too funny not to add! What a silly face!
He gets his knees where they are supposed to be, but then he face plants. We're working on learning to keep the head up while getting up on the knees.
Dad just walked in the room... what a cute smile he got, huh?

Here's my sleepy eyed little monkey just this morning!
It doesn't take him long to wake up and start smiling!
Here's mama being mean and making him sit right after he wakes up.... see what happens next?
OOOOOPPSS!! lol!
Check out his eyes in this one... it's a good shot of the color. We're still undecided on what color his eyes will permanently be. They are slightly blue on the outside and brown in the middle most of the time. Sometimes green.Who knows! Guess it will be a surprise!And.... Here are the videos!
